Our trainers are experienced in both positive reinforcement and balanced training methods.
Positive reinforcement focuses on rewarding the behaviors we want to see more of, building confidence and motivation in a fun and encouraging way. Balanced training also uses rewards as the foundation but, when needed, incorporates fair boundaries and clear communication tools to help guide dogs effectively. This combination allows us to adapt our approach to each dog’s unique temperament and learning style, always prioritizing safety, respect, and long-term success. We also respect each dog’s needs and each owner’s wishes, while being guided by our trainers’ expertise when it comes to implementing any type of tool.

Donte’s story

Donte is a professional dog trainer based in Delaware County and takes pride in being a father of two girls, embracing the hashtag #TeamGirlDad. He embarked on his journey as a dog trainer in 2019 when he adopted his dog, Legend. Legend was previously surrendered by an owner who believed he was untrainable. Donte's success in training Legend inspired him to assist other dog owners facing similar challenges, ultimately aiming to reduce the number of dogs in shelters.
Donte is affiliated with the Association of Professional Dog Trainers Association and actively seeks opportunities to enhance his skills and knowledge in his profession.
Donte ensures both dogs and their owners enjoy effective and enjoyable training experiences. He possesses extensive experience working with diverse breeds, ranging from small to large dogs. Donte's passion lies in facilitating harmonious and affectionate relationships between dogs and their owners.
