Kyiah was inspired to become a dog trainer during her tenure at an animal shelter, where she witnessed perfectly good dogs being overlooked due to minor behavioral issues. This experience fueled her determination to bridge the gap between dogs and potential owners, motivating her to pursue a career in dog training.
Professional Experience
With nearly nine years of experience in dog training, Kyiah has honed her skills across various disciplines, including pet obedience, protection training, nose work, and competition-style obedience. Her specialization lies in behavior modification, an area in which she has excelled through her work with multiple behaviorists and canine physical therapists. Kyiah's portfolio includes the successful training of several service dogs and therapy dogs, highlighting her commitment to enhancing the lives of both dogs and their owners. Currently, she is working towards becoming a Certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator, further solidifying her expertise in canine training and behavior.
