Source of Inspiration
Samantha was inspired to become a dog trainer in her late teens after getting a dog with severe separation anxiety. Her desire to understand and help her dog led her to study canine behavior. Fascinated by the intricacies of the canine mind, she became passionate about learning why dogs behave the way they do.
Professional Experience
Samantha became a certified American Kennel Club trainer and evaluator in May 2013. Over the past 11 years, she has gained hands-on experience through internships, externships, workshops, and seminars. She has worked with dogs with various behavioral issues and became a certified therapy dog instructor through K9 Caring Angels from October 2018 to August 2021.
Unleashing Expertise
Samantha is most experienced with companion family dogs, behavioral modification, and competitive obedience training. She competes in various dog sports, including Rally-O, dock diving, AKC nose work, and weight pull, with her dogs Moose, Tiptoe, Riley, and Wiggles. Her passion for learning and teaching drives her to spread knowledge about dog training.
Future Forecast
In five years, Samantha envisions running a small facility with a dedicated staff specializing in dog sports. She aims to raise awareness about providing dogs with necessary biological fulfillment and hopes to continue learning from top trainers to help her clients find the best in their dogs.
